A wonderful addition and continuation of the Misfits series. I know some may balk at the price, but this is two books in one. For me, I would rather pay once than have been left dangling (at a very crucial part in the story) to wait for a second part--I hate cliffhangers!!! I also love when possible seeds for future stories are planted in the book I'm reading. I'm also glad that the other Misfits are also featured and we get to see how their story continues.Product details

I don’t know if this is the end of the series or K-Lee plans a story for Kristof, but Manny’s story was enjoyable, part expected, part surprise and very enjoyable.
Manny is the baby of the Misfits, and Ali feels truly like his Mama Bear. Manny came to live with them at a very young age, thrown out by his family for not only being gay but constantly told what a misfit he was. Shy, loving and very susceptible to peer pressure he dreamed of his “Prince Charming” His Spirit Mate making him whole.
The family is in Europe, living in Kalo’s home. Kristiof has stayed behind in Canada choosing to work there. This story is a tough one, focusing on Manny and his Fated mate. This is where you see not even Fate gets things right all the time.
Ms Klein writes a strong story of when a relationship turns abusive, when the one abused doesn’t have the strength to walk away. Manny is the perfect storm who can continue to blame himself for the abuse he is receiving.
Mika, who is Kalo’s twin was told as a twin he has no mark, since only one twin is granted a mate mark. He accepted that he would not have a true mate. But when fate fails, and leaves Manny in jeopardy, Manny and Mika are given a second chance.
First let me say I loved this story. My only problem with Manny’s Heart was it was a little too long. Although I love a 500 page story, I didn’t feel this story warranted it, and it was a little too repetitive. But our family was together, and I loved seeing them all.

I loved this book. I give it a solid 4.5 - 4.75 stars, it is fantastic. Each book in this series is better than the last one. This book is the longest in the series, so long the publisher wanted to split it into two books, but I think it's perfect as one longer book. The story is so well-written that I didn't even notice that it was longer than the others; I just wanted to see what happened next.
Manny is a sweetheart. He's watched his friends find their spirit mates and seen how happy they are. He wants that as well, and since he has the mark of a spirit mate, he hopes to find his soon. His birth family was incredibly cruel to him, leaving him with nightmares for years. His chosen misfit family is wonderful and loves him for who he is, and now he longs for the mate who will complete him as well.
What he finds isn't what he expected. His spirit mate and he are not clicking in any way, and Manny is trying so hard to make it work. This part of the book was devastating in some ways, Manny wants to be loved and love in return, but nothing is going like he thought it would.
Mika caused a lot of problems in the last book, but here we see a completely different side that he has hidden behind his bluster and attitude for years. I don't want to spoil too much of the plot here for people. Let's just say that I loved Mika in this book and Manny as well. I think a lot of people can relate to Manny's wish to have the perfect mate for themselves that will love them and complete them. Mika sacrifices a lot in this book for Manny and it made me love him all the more.

This is a wonderful story of Manny trying to find where he is in life and more importantly with Mika. The tale weaves paranormal and romance elements showcasing characters introduced in other books. The author has tenderly described the longing of Manny in the pages so when the anticipated denouement happens, you're eager and excited for the characters!
I've been waiting for Mika and Manny's story for quite a while, and I have to say it eas DEFINITELY worth the wait. Watching Manny and Mika refuse to see what was right in front of them made me want to grab them by their collars and shake the crap out of them! The HEA ending made this tale well worth the time it took to read it, and I DEFINITELY recommend it to everyone!
